Dear music lovers
It is with particular pleasure that we begin our 2020/21 concert season in September!
In order to ensure your health and to support the containment of the Corona virus, we attach great importance to the careful implementation of the applicable infection control requirements.
Here we have compiled the important information on protection and hygiene measures for you. This information is updated on an ongoing basis.
Capture of contact details
As an event organizer, we are obligated to be able to ensure that the chain of infection can be traced in the event of suspicion. Therefore, admission to our concerts is only possible after submission of a completed Visitor Questionnaire
These sheets must be retained by us until 3 weeks after the performance visit. After that, this information will be destroyed in accordance with the data protection guidelines.
Visitors who complain of symptoms of illness such as fever, cough, sore throat, etc. on the day of the performance are strongly requested to refrain from attending the concert.
Admission to Freylinghausen Hall
In order to comply with the security clearances currently in effect, the seating capacity of Freylinhausen Hall is currently greatly reduced.
If possible, please purchase your tickets in advance at the Francke-Wohnhaus or in our Eventim ticket shop and show up at the arrival time shown on your concert ticket.
Our admissions staff will be happy to assist you at any time. Seating in the auditoriums will be assigned to maintain the current minimum distance in all directions. Therefore, please sit only in the row of seats indicated on your ticket.
Mouth and nose covering
Masks are mandatory from the time you enter the Historisches Waisenhaus until you reach your seat. If you must leave the Freylinghausen Hall during the concert, please also wear your mouth and nose covering when doing so. This also applies, of course, when leaving the hall at the end of the concert.
Compliance with general hygiene rules
Disinfection dispensers are available for you in the entrance area. You will also find soap at the sinks to thoroughly clean your hands.
For the sake of the health of all concertgoers and Foundation staff*, we ask that you maintain a minimum distance of 1.50 m from other people, as well as observe sneeze etiquette.
Coat check
To avoid queuing, the usual checkroom service is currently not available. However, you will have the opportunity to leave your coat rack next to your seats.
The Francke Foundations staff is always available to assist you in implementing protective measures.
Sanitary facilities
The sanitary facilities in the “Historisches Waisenhaus” are open. Please make sure there are no lines there either.
Gastronomy
Unfortunately, catering services are not expected to be available at the concert on September 26. We are currently working on a workable solution in accordance with current regulations and hope to be able to provide it again at upcoming concerts.
